Game Thread

Nothing like a little Bob Uecker on the radio for an 11:30 start. It's Dave Bush (8-8, 4.83) vs Bobby Livingston (2-1, 3.52). Losing 3 of 4 at Cinci would be crushing. The lineup:

2B Rickie Weeks
SS J.J. Hardy
3B Ryan Braun
CF Bill Hall
LF Kevin Mench
RF Corey Hart
1B Tony Graffanino
C Damian Miller
RHP Dave Bush

I'm assuming Livingston is a lefty with this lineup.

That didn't take long.

I'm sure the Brewers can scratch out at least 1 run today......
(Note: I am not actually sure of that.)

9 pitches/3outs for Livingston in the 3rd....It seems that move to the leadoff spot has really jump-started Weeks' bat.

When did Brandon Phillips turn into Soriano??

Bases full of Brewers w/ 1 out and Graffy up.....recent history says this should be interesting.

Getting the 3rd out has been killing the Brewers so far this trip...unbelievable that 2 runs can score when there is 2 out, nobody on, and no home runs are hit...

Eye candy strikes again...
HOME RUN BRAUN!

2 walks in the inning for Bush....and then Braun Homers. That guy is the exact opposite of Jenkins VS. LHP so far.

This series is the beginning of the end. Similar to the first series after the ASB in Cincy last season.

I'm going to officially count Weeks' getting hit by a pitch as busting out of his slump.

He needs all the slumpbusters he can get...

Well, that was pretty easy for the Reds

...nice game.....I suppose games like this are why the Reds lead their division by 4 games.
