Big Win

With Sheets going down, last night's 2-1 victory over Colorado was a big win for the Crew. Plus, St. Louis lost again, so the Brewers were able to put some more distance between them and the Cards before their reinforcements come back off of the DL.

It would have sucked to have lost that game. And kudos to Ned for pulling Weeks and letting Graffanino bat in the bottom of the 10th.

Good to see the Cards continue to lose. As we put more distance between us and the Cards, I feel better about winning the division.

I am far more concerned about the Cubs gentlemen...

Who cares about the cardinals? The cubs are way better and are way closer to us. Just because the cardinals were good the last few years, doesn't mean they'll automatically turn it on and start kicking ass.

Who are these "Cubs" of whom you speak?

The Cards could actually be the team that decides the division; there is only about 70 games left in the season and they play the Crew and the Cubs a combined 21 times. It is definitely a good idea to keep an eye on the Cards, especially since the Cubs have 11 yet to play VS. STL with 7 of those in ST. Louis.

go ahead and keep an eye on them, they're just not that good. i'd much rather keep an eye on the cubs, who the way they're going might not lose another game
