Whew

I was saying Boo-urns
Watching Brewers games is not good for ones health. I am going to look like Hans Moleman by seasons end.

Yo looks good out there. He just throws strikes. Can he please take Bush's spot full time? Oh, and can he pinch hit for Counsell every time up?

Why that was posted twice, I have no idea.

Was it just me, or does YO have pretty similar stuff to Sheets? 4 seamer at low-mid 90's, sharp 12-6 curveball, and he mixes in a changeup from time to time. This dude needs to hold a spot in the rotation. If you are going to play for the future with Gwynn, you gotta consider Gallardo's future as well and continue to groom him along as a starter. Any thoughts on trading Bush for help in the pen after Capuano gets healthy? Don't forget Villanueva can start in a pinch; it seems we are pretty deep at starting pitching and could use a LHP in the pen.

Put Yo and Villy in the rotaton. Move Bush to the bully...and hope his "one big inning" isn't the one he goes in for. I guess he was a closer in college. Zack Jackson is pitching well in AAA...bring him up as a LH reliver. He could take over Villy's bullpen role with the abiltiy to pitch 3 innings at a crack if needed. I guess Vargas is the odd man out in this scenario. Whatever. In Doug I trust.

I just remember "Bushie" not being too effective in relief last year for the brief time he was coming out of the pen. I might rather see an actual reliever coming from the pen rather than some guy who last did it effectively when he was at Wake Forest. I think Melvin's got a lot of moves and decisions to make over the next 5 weeks.....

I am pretty sure Yo will not be a starter from here on out. The most innings he has pitched in pro ball was 145 last season. Including his 6-1/3 last night. He has already tossed 84 innings this season. Having wathed what happened to the young staff on the north side, it wouldn't suprise me to see him be skipped a couple times. Looks like in August the #5 guy can be skipped a couple times.
