NBA Action, it's FAAAAANTASTIC!!

In the NBA playoffs, there are a few teams left and I'm sure they're playing some really fascinating basketball. Whatever. The real reason to tune in tonight is for the draft lottery. Bucks fans should be especially interested as their terrible season gives them the 3rd best chance for landing the first pick. The second pick would also be fine.
Basically, the future of the Milwaukee Bucks could be decided by ping pong ball. I really think this is a make or break event for the entire franchise. The Senator wants a new arena, public support for the Bucks is apathetic, thus the long term future of the Bucks in Milwaukee seems shaky at best. A Greg Oden or Kevin Durant would immediately make the Bucks matter. "Now playing...your 2010 Las Vegas Bucks!!!"

I for one am stoked for tonights lottery. The Bucks would jut right to the top half of the eastern conference with a #1 or #2 pick, not to mention just from getting healthy. Let's hope the Tank job they did last season pays off!

I love the irony of the recent nintendo games debate and the fact that a highly underated star from tecmo basketball is now their current coach! By the way is it too late to fire him and get a real coach? Or does he get an automatic extension for helping the Bucks tank the season in hopes of landing the #1 or #2 pick tonight...and if all his hard work does not pay off tonight can we get a real coach?

Heres to a rousing game of Beer Pong I will be playing tongight in hopes of willing the Bucks to the 2009 Eastern Conference championship!!!!

I definitely am not a true fan of NBA basketball or the Bucks for that matter...meaning I'll casually keep an eye out on how they are doing and try to keep track on the guys on the team.

That being said, I watched at least 20 college basketball games in which Oden or Durant were a part of last year, and if the Bucks land one of those two guys, I will become a "fan" yet again.

BTW, Greg Oden is Bill Russell's long lost 25 year old son. No way he's 19.

If the Bucks don't get the #1 or 2, I hope they think about Mike Conley Jr.

I'm an Al Horford guy. They need more size. Bogut is a Sally and Chuck V prefers hanging out at the 3 pt line. Let's hope he doesnt turn out to be Tito.

I might be more interested in two guys playing actual ping-pong, than which two guys the Bucks will get with their ping-pong balls. Didn't we have the #1 overall in '94 and AGAIN in '05? Now people are basically saying, #1 or #2 or bust. (Essentially, out of 30 NBA teams, we'd better get #1 overall 3 times in a dozen years or we might lose a bunch. That doesn't even count all the other REALLY high picks in that time.) The Bucks always have high draft picks, they've had one good year in the last 15, and overall they lose and lately don't even compete in the NBA. If they keep raising the "bargain bin" on coaches, they could get Oden and Durant and they won't do squat. If you haven't gathered yet, I hate the NBA. In baseball, maybe 10 teams could win it all, and that's about twice that of the NBA. Let me try to predict the good teams next year. Here goes: Phoenix, San Antonio, Detroit, Chicago, and ?(probably, Cleveland.) Let's see if I'm right.

My NBA love fell apart shortly after Big Dog missed a wide open 10-foot baseline jumper in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Or how about when Lindsey Hunter went 1 for 18 in the eastern Confernce finals that year. I get nauseated every time I see his f*in face on the Pistons....if that doushbag could have shot even around 20% for the playoffs we would have had the honor of getting thrashed by the Lakers that year!!!!!!
