I know it's only 2 years of free agency that this contract covers, but we have this guy locked up until he is 32 years old. He is makign a commitment to spend a big chunk of the next 7-plus years of his life in Milwaukee. Braun is a guy who grew up in LA and went to college in Miami. It's nice to see that he is willing to play in Milwaukee. Hopefully the signing, along with some persuasion by Braun can convince some of the other youngsters to sign or bring in some FAs. Not saying its going to be the same as God telling Reggie to sign with the Pack, but it's a start.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-18850324044339968962008-05-15T11:15:00.000-05:002008-05-15T11:15:00.000-05:00This happened 2 weeks after his buddy Tulo in Colo...This happened 2 weeks after his buddy Tulo in Colorodo messes up his quad and goes on the DL. I'm sure Troy was quite happy that he signed the long term deal when he did.

Any chance Tulo guided Braun a little bit on this one? As long as he doesn't piss all of that money away on cars and boats or other bad investments.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09970782252676011931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-88997574621929989552008-05-15T10:47:00.000-05:002008-05-15T10:47:00.000-05:00Wow, what a steal! 8 years of (hopefully) 35 bomb...Wow, what a steal! 8 years of (hopefully) 35 bombs and 110 RBIs for less than $6 mil per???
