I'm sure Attanasio would not choose to go back to those serene "Boo-less" nights of 2001, with like 7,500 at a weekday night game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-86669989522393531062007-09-28T11:20:00.000-05:002007-09-28T11:20:00.000-05:00Maybe they should pipe in the sounds of crickets c...Maybe they should pipe in the sounds of crickets chirping through the loudspeakers as the pitcher walks off the mound.

-Not so anonymous JakeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-58812078906396187782007-09-28T11:18:00.000-05:002007-09-28T11:18:00.000-05:00If booing meant no resignings, no city, in any maj...If booing meant no resignings, no city, in any major sport, would have any players.

Dude, it's the word "boo"...it's like a step above a harmless word. It's like the 4th word you learn as a child. It's not like your shouting racial slurs at them.

I agree that some people might view booing as not cool, and that's fine. But if you pay for a ticket, and you don't run onto the field of play, or throw flares on the field like in soccer, or anything else that might get you arrested, you can pretty much do whatever you want. For the record, I have booed Turnbow this year. I'm OK with admitting that. If that causes him to sign elsewhere, I would think more people would thank me rather than criticize me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-70415555582060298812007-09-28T11:10:00.000-05:002007-09-28T11:10:00.000-05:00When Turnbow melts down every other time on the mo...When Turnbow melts down every other time on the mound, what are we supposed to do? And you all know who you are.

You are all going to make it so we have a 0% chance of resigning Prince, Braun, Hardy, Hart, etc... when their contracts are up. They won't want to play here with these kinds of "fans".

Start acting like real fans and not bandwagon jumpers who whine about every little thing that goes bad. I was so F'n fired up when the Marlins beat the Cubs yesterday, and then the team comes out and dumps on the field.

Still hope....but yesterday definitely took me down a peg.

Can I also just offer that I really am sick of seeing Hall & Jenks back-to-back in the lineup? If they have to play in the same lineup, get some space between them somehow. If you combined their abilities in making contact it would add up to below average...so many K's.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-70411885183894529072007-09-28T10:07:00.000-05:002007-09-28T10:07:00.000-05:0084 if you count Monday's play in game.84 if you count Monday's play in game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-63130031709080903522007-09-28T09:52:00.000-05:002007-09-28T09:52:00.000-05:00Will the Brewers win 82 games this year? Will the Brewers win 82 games this year?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-17727188472582480752007-09-28T09:47:00.000-05:002007-09-28T09:47:00.000-05:00I picked a fine time to head to my first Brew Crew...I picked a fine time to head to my first Brew Crew game in 4 years....5 friggin errors?? Instead Hart fails to get a bunt down and nothing happens. I was there last night and there was a buzz at the beginning of the game and the crowd was ready to explode. Then the Padres score 4 and nothing. All the juice just went out of the ballpark. Tough game to have to sit through. Hopefully tonight will be better. I can't handle being at 2 games like that in a row.Goldyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09617231306784316951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-79749350625321143202007-09-28T09:18:00.001-05:002007-09-28T09:18:00.001-05:00That lefty they brought in at a key spot in the ga...That lefty they brought in at a key spot in the game to get Prince to ground out with the bases loaded looked pretty good.
