I'm just saying that even if we still had him, we'd be 5-7. If not worse. In the last few years I'd feared when Brett would get the ball in the last few minutes because it very rarely led to something good. And I have no bad feelings twards you. I just don't feel the the Favre path is the right one to be walking down.

I'd be more upset about Ted Thompsons drafting habits/personel choices. If we still had Ryan, the Panthers wouldn't have always had such a short field to work on. If we'd not drafted 17 million wideouts, maybe we could have drafted defensive players.

Look... Favre wouldn't have "won" that game yesterday. I would argue that he would have throw at least one more interception than Rodgers did, and they wouldn't have been in the position they were yesterday to have the lead with less than two minutes remaining.D'Amico's one good yearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12086748123957804075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-17905117518304212482008-12-01T10:01:00.000-06:002008-12-01T10:01:00.000-06:00DOGY, Rodgers could have "won" that game by drivin...DOGY, Rodgers could have "won" that game by driving the team 80 yards for the winning TD, regardless of how piss poor the defense of special teams were during the game.

Is that accurate?

I'll grant that Favre has thrown a boatload of interceptions in his career, but it's clear from the stats that 60% of the time, he won close games every time.Matthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09970782252676011931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-20640971561600096352008-12-01T09:34:00.000-06:002008-12-01T09:34:00.000-06:00300 yards, 3 TDs and the only INT at the end when ...300 yards, 3 TDs and the only INT at the end when they knew he had to throw deep.

Yeah, Rodgers sucks. Yesterday Kampman got 2 sacks, but guess what Jake D still had 4 seconds to throw the damn ball on those plays. Our DLine/LB's are below average/poor, and I don't care how good your secondary is if the QB(other than Daunte Culpepper) can sit there for 5-6 seconds someone will be open.

Arod played a perfect 2nd half other than that last throw, he will learn. We mortgage this season for the future, all business's have to sometimes take a step back to take 2 steps forward.

I'm done debating the Favre thing, we have all moved on, it's over. I just can't wait until it's March 20th this year and Favre is debating whether to come back for the 7th straight offseason and the NY media is ON HIS ASS. The Jets owe him nothing and I hope they kick him to the curb like TT did.

Also if Favre was so damn great how come there was only 2 teams interested in him, and the most we got for him was a 2nd-4th round pick.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-275727040983261898.post-18425728517617808562008-12-01T09:28:00.000-06:002008-12-01T09:28:00.000-06:00Packers with the ball on their 20-ish.1:30 (or wha...Packers with the ball on their 20-ish.

1:30 (or whatever) left in the game.

Down 4.

2 timeouts.

Anyone think that Rodgers was going to win that game for Green Bay?
